My IPhone Says Incorrect Password When Trying to Receive an Email
Glad it did for yours though. I would be grateful if a Microsoft Moderator could look into this problem as a priority? Currently, I am prompted at least 10 times per day to re-enter my password on an iPhone 5S and an iPad 2, using Outlook in the native Mail App. Both are running on iOS 7. Sometimes, re-entering the password is accepted. However, most times the password is not accepted even though it is correct.
If this happens too many times, I am then locked out of my account because "an incorrect password has been entered to many times" and I need to re-authenticate using a security code on the main website. Is there a known compatibility issue with iOS 7? The problems seem to have started since updating from iOS 6. I do not have 2-step verification in place. Integrating Hotmail into my iPhone Mail App is essential for me - currently, it is unusable.
Change Email Password
Many thanks in advance. I have a user who has been having the same problem, she has an exchange account and a hotmail account and has been having the same issue with the exchange asking for the password each time she syncs, to get around this, I have had her to set both accounts to the same password due to hotmail for iphone app and the exchange account use the same connector therefore they cache the same information on the phone as far as security.

You could also create a new email address under your BTID to test as well. Does this affect all accounts? All my settings on my iPhone are mail. Message 10 of My BTID and email are the same with the same password. Webmail always works. Im on BT Mail and not Yahoo.
